ViFolly is a band from Eaton, OH (Dayton area), and a regular at McGuffey's House of Rock. I have seen them perform and got the chance a few weeks ago to make some press and promotional photos for them. We had a great time hanging in their music studio making the photos. The shot above was made in their studio with one key light, two accent lights for rim light, and a gray backdrop (yes gray, I added the texture in post-processing).
The photo of ViFolly is the first photo I consider to be part of the CORE360 Project I am working on. The idea is to feature Central Ohio Rock & Entertainment here on the blog. Wether the subject is a finished promo as the one above, or simply a candid of what Central Ohio has to offer in the rock and entertainment culture, I hope to share all the cool stuff Central Ohio has to offer.
