I have so much to share about yesterday's Mayhem Fest in Cincinnati, but for now, I just want to give a shout out to the Swedish band In Flames, their tour manager, Laura (the onsite coordinator), the BC Rich guitar rep, and everyone back at their management company for helping me and Alternative Revolt Magazine set-up a quick photo-shoot before their set.

I just wanted to add, the latest Album by In Flames is 'effin awesome!! Definately a departure from the older sound but much more refined, intense, and in my opinion, thicker and deeper. I downloaded the deluxe edition of 'Sounds of a Playground Fading' and I am so happy I did. I hear the new sound of modern metal, yet I can hear remnants of an older Iron Maiden sound. Well worth the $9.99 iTunes price! Check these guys out on tour and if you can't make the tour you must get the new album!
